# Bartr

> Bartr is a free iPhone app for pricing card trades at card shows. Scan a stack of Pokémon, One Piece or Riftbound cards, value both sides of a trade from sold-market data, and keep a written receipt of the deal. It is a live trade tool, not a marketplace: Bartr sells nothing and needs no account.

- Who it is for: collectors and vendors trading cards in person, at shows, shops and meetups. The copy is written to be family friendly.
- What it does: scans raw cards and graded slabs, prices both sides of a trade, applies a dealer buy rate to both sides, shows a fair or unfair verdict, and saves the deal.
- Where prices come from: Scrydex market data, recent verified sales for slabs, and JustTCG for graded One Piece and Riftbound. New prices land once a day. Prices are estimates, not appraisals or offers.
- Fair rule: a gap under 3 percent of the larger side reads as fair.
- Not financial advice. Bartr explains the arithmetic of a trade; it never tells anyone what to buy, sell, hold or grade.
- Account: none. The collection, trades and settings live on the phone, with no login and no ads. Cloud Backup is opt-in and uses a recovery code.
- Cost: free for the whole trade. Bartr Pro, when it arrives, adds room for busy show days. Details on /pro.
