Bartr is the trade tool for card shows: the app you open when someone across the table offers you a trade.
What Bartr does
Bartr is an iPhone app, free to download, listed on the App Store as Bartr: Card Trades. It scans Pokémon and One Piece cards (Riftbound cards are searched, not scanned), prices both sides of a trade from daily market data, shows whether the trade is fair, and keeps a written receipt of the deal. How Bartr prices cards explains where the numbers come from.
What Bartr is not
Bartr is not a marketplace. It sells nothing, takes no cut of a trade, and needs no account: your collection, trades and settings live on your phone. It is not financial advice either. Bartr explains the arithmetic of a trade and leaves the decision to the people at the table.
Who makes it
Bartr is made and operated by Eric Mac, an independent developer.
