Put both sides in.
Scan each card or search it by name, set or number. Your cards go on one side, theirs on the other.
Set the printing, condition or grade.
Check the corners, edges and surface first. Pick the exact printing, then the condition for a raw card or the company and grade for a slab. The price follows the copy you set.
Add any cash.
If money is part of the deal, add it to the side paying it. Cash always counts at face value.
Read the verdict.
Bartr adds up both sides and says fair, favors you or favors them. Fair means the gap is under 3% of the larger side.
Check the dealer rate.
Some tables count your cards at a share of market, like 80%, and theirs at full value. Set each side to its rate and Bartr tells you when the two sides are valued at different percentages.
Record the deal.
When you shake on it, tap Deal Complete to save the trade and update your collection. Share the receipt so both sides leave with the same numbers.
The numbers are only part of it. Finishing a set or getting a card you love counts too. And it is always OK to say no thanks.
